Feli Nandi to Share Stage with Makhadzi at Limpopo One-Woman Show

Zimbabwean singer Feli Nandi is set to perform alongside South African superstar Makhadzi for the first time at the One-Woman Show in Limpopo, marking a key milestone in her growing regional presence.
The performance follows a year of breakthroughs for Feli Nandi, including her role as the only Zimbabwean artist at this year’s Eswatini Bushfire Festival. Her manager, Connie Mazani, described the collaboration as more than a debut, calling it a symbolic meeting of cultures.
“It’s the first time sharing a stage with Makhadzi. We’re excited for the opportunity to take Zimbabwean music to spaces where it’s not just a predominantly Zimbabwean audience. We see this as a special platform to take Zim music to the world,” Mazani said.
Makhadzi’s One-Woman Show is scheduled for December 20 and 21 at Makhuvha Stadium and Rabali Stadium in Limpopo. The event celebrates powerful African women in music and features a star-studded line-up including DJ Zinhle, Shandesh, and Nomcebo Zikode.
During the show’s launch in Thohoyandou, Makhadzi highlighted the event’s focus on her home community and its role in inspiring young artists. “Charity begins at home. I’ll never forget where I come from, that’s why I chose to launch at home with the people who believed in me first,” she said. “The first phase introduces the strong, powerful women who inspire me. Only female artists, bold, powerful, and proudly African. This show is about honouring the voices that are shaping the future.”
The event will also include pre-show activities, such as a football tournament organized by Makhadzi. South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo will host this year’s edition.
For Feli Nandi, the collaboration comes as her brand continues to grow beyond Zimbabwe, solidifying her position as one of the region’s rising musical powerhouses. The performance is expected to strengthen cultural ties and showcase Zimbabwean talent to a broader African audience.
