Kadewere was nurtured by his father the late Onias Kadewere at Highfield Academy. At school Kadewere attended Prince Edward High School where he rubbed shoulders with current Warriors goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva.

The brother to former young warriors player Prosper Kadewere made his breakthrough in 2014 when he was signed by premiership outfit Harare City. It was at Harare City where the Prince Edward old boy attracted the attention of scouts who monitored the lanky forward closely.
