Minister Dismisses Reports Of Typhoid Outbreak

Minister of Health and Child Care David Parirenyatwa has dismissed reports of a typhoid outbreak which circulated on social media over the weekend. The minister said that only two cases of typhoid had been reported and these had been dealt with at the Beatrice Road Infectious Diseases Hospital. Said Parirenyatwa,

Most of these speculative reports are being circulated on social media, but I would like to assure the residents that we only had two cases two weeks ago and the people were referred to Beatrice Road Infectious Diseases Hospital.
