The trailer for what seems to be a must watch is out! Zimbabwe has its first dance movie and the trailer is out.
Love and Dance follows the story of Kim who is forced to move to Harare from Bulawayo. She leaves her friends and life behind. At her new home, life takes an unexpected turn. Shingi and his dance crew only want one thing, to win the National dance competitions. But they first need to learn to stick as a team, and beat the Big 5 Crew.
Kim will make new friends, join a dance group and even find love.
The movie stars a cast of choreographers including Roxanne Smyth, Andrew Hammond, Noni Cathy Nyasha Madzinga, Fredrick King, Timikha Karla Fisher, Warren Brasco Kombora, and Lindiwe Dhlakama. Other more prominent names include dancer Tendai Guzha and actor Shaun Munda. The film is a Invision Studios production.
The movie was written and directed by rapper, actress and filmmaker Denise “Dice” Edwards. Production credits are handed to Charles Mugaviri, Shaun Munda and Myles Matarise. The movie already made its debut on Zambezi Magic.
Fans can expect drama, diversity and a lot of Zimbabwean music that the actors will dance to. Watch the trailer below:
