Depending on your job most of us usually look forward to having that midday lunch break. For some, it’s that time that you can catch up with work, or quickly dash to the bank for a bit of cash. However how you spend you spend your lunch time is very important as this is the time that can either make you or break you. You work 9 to 5 and still need the energy to attend to other aspects of your life as well as finish the rest of your day at work. Here are 5 simple tips to make the most of your mid-day break.

1.Go out to have lunch instead of eating at your at your desk.

2. Find your chill out spot where you can unplug and enjoy some fresh air or sone undisturbed relaxation.

3. Get some exercise by taking a walk or taking the stairs instead of an elevator. Movement will prevent your body from being rigid and the exercise will also boost your mood as well as keep you fit.

4. Rehydrate your body with some water to help you boost your energy.

5. Take a power nap to help you rest your eyes and boost your energy levels. Take 15 to 20 minutes of undisturbed snooze in a quiet place. Always remember that it’s a nap not time to catch up with your sleep.
