List of celebs who tested positive for covid-19

 

The current covid pandemic has not spared famous people. The virus has been non selective on its victims. Here are some popular people who were diagnosed with covid 19.

1 Thompson Dondo
The owner of Impala car rental passed away recently after contracting covid 19. He was also a music promoter and sponsored several artists. Dondo fell ill and died a few days after being diagnosed with the deadly virus.

2 Thokozani Khupe
The embittered losing candidate for MDC T suffered a double blow after losing the party’s elections as well as being diagnosed with covid 19. She is reportedly receiving treatment and care at a private facility.

3 Perrence Shiri
The late army general failed to beat the deadly virus. He passed away last year and it was later revealed that he had succumbed to covid 19. Although there was a lot of speculation on the real cause of his demise, he still remains a statistic of the covid deaths in the country.

4 Janet Munyaka
ZBC news health reporter Janet Munyaka also succumbed to covid 19. She passed away late last year.

5 Obert Mpofu
Zanu Pf secretary for administration Obert Mpofu and his wife both tested positive for covid 19. They were fortunate enough to recover fully and have since regained their health

6 Zororo Makamba
Zororo, the son of business mogul James Makamba was the first documented case of a covid 19 death in the country. He passed away after returning from abroad. Makamba’s death served as a wake up call to those that were still in denial about the existence of the virus in Zimbabwe.

 

7 Kuda Musasiwa

The bubbly and cheerful owner of Fresh in a box is said to be in a critical condition. Writing on his social media pages, renowned politician Acie Lumumba asked for prayers and confirmed that the vendor in chief is in a critical condition.

8 Kudakwashe Mahachi

The football star recently tested positive for covid 19. He was set to travel with the national team but these plans have been watered down
